Luc Tuymans in Bruges
The Project
The exhibition entitled ‘Luc Tuymans: A Vision of Central Europe’ was inspired by the differing fortunes of Bruges and Warsaw. While Bruges has stood the test of time, Warsaw was decimated during the Second World War and after that gradually rebuilt. Polish artists provide the point of departure. From there the exhibition unfolds in different directions to include artists from Germany, Austria, Croatia, Albania and the Czech Republic. It even extends its scope to the principles of American Pop Art and ends with the work of the Japanese artist Takashi Murakami.
For this exhibition Ravi produced a digital tour in three languages. The tour is available as an iPhone application or can be downloaded in MP3 format from the Bruges Central website.
